Juneberry Garage is brought to you by a group of friends who love creating community spaces to kick back, enjoy some good food, cocktails and to hang out with buddies. We’ve been opening gathering spots across DC for over a decade, and we are beyond excited to bring the residents of Brightwood a cozy go-to in the neighborhood.
Located on The Parks at Walter Reed campus, Juneberry Garage blends the rich history of the area with our soon-to-be lively kitchen and bar. Our indoor dining room was once home to Walter Reed’s mechanic shop complete with the original garage doors that lead to our sprawling 5,000 square foot patio overlooking the Great Lawn.
Juneberry Garage is more than a place just to grab a bite, it’s where the history of the neighborhood and the hospitality that you’ve come to know us for converge for everyday hangs, meet-ups, first dates, weekend catch-ups, time with your book and your dog and all the moments in between.

We are located in The Parks at Walter Reed campus just off Georgia Avenue. We strongly encourage visitors to ride a bike, use public transportation, or utilize ridesharing as parking is very limited on campus.
Absolutely! JG is very family-friendly. We ask that you do keep an eye on your little ones at all times and that any scooters or other vehicles are not used within our property.
Yes! To be honest, we’ll probably give your dog more love than you. We do ask that you keep your best buddy leashed next to you at all times. Dogs having a bad day or those that display signs of aggression will be kindly asked to leave and take their humans with them. We’re also located right next to a lovely little dog park.
Yes. The whole property is accessible including bathrooms, game areas and seating.
Parking is very limited and is restricted to street parking only. We strongly encourage guests to use public transportation, rideshares or walk to visit us.
Outside food is allowed, but we do encourage guests to enjoy the great food from local vendors that we host on site.
Currently we are not taking reservations. However, if you have a large party or event you would like to have at Juneberry Garage, please email us at info@juneberrygarage.com.
Smoking is not allowed on site. In fact, smoking is not permitted anywhere on The Parks at Walter Reed campus.
Soon! We’re currently working on building out our interior space, which will have indoor seating, a beautiful kitchen, and a brand new bar and cafe.
Most definitely. Pop on over after your ride in Rock Creek or on the MBT. Bike racks can be found in many locations around us and you’re welcome to lock up your bike on the inside (not outside) of our fence. And we got a lot of fence.
